Apart from ice cream on a hot day there’s nothing more summery than smoothies. They make getting ready in the morning easy and uncomplicated, they pack in the fruit and vegetables with minimal effort and there’s no end to the delicious variety and experimentation until you find The One. To inspire your summer of smoothies ahead, here are a trio of delectable smoothies that will be perfect any time of day.

INGREDIENTS
1. Green smoothie
A classic green smoothie full of spinach and creamy avocado with sweet mango and a kick from fresh ginger.
- 250ml Unsweetened Almond Breeze almond milk
- 1 small banana
- ½ avocado
- 30g fresh spinach
- 50g frozen mango
- 2cm chunk of fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
2. Berrylicious Smoothie
A fibre boosting berry smoothie with chia seeds. Using frozen berries means you create this super creamy chilled smoothie all year round.
- 250ml Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk
- 90g frozen mixed berries (or grab them fresh when they’re in season)
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp. chia pudding (see instructions below)
- 1 tbsp. cashew butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
3. Banana tahini smoothie
A protein-rich banana tahini smoothie blended with heart healthy oats and mixed seeds.
- 250ml Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk
- ½ banana
- 20g oats
- 2 Medjool dates, de-stoned
- 1 tbsp. tahini
- 1 tbsp. almond butter
- 1 tbsp. mixed seeds (recommend pumpkin, sesame, sunflower, flax and hemp)
METHOD
1. Green Smoothie
Scoop out half an avocado and pop it in the blender cup. Add the banana and all the remaining ingredients. Pour over the Unsweetened Almond Breeze® and blend until smooth and creamy.
2. Berry Smoothie
To make the chia pudding
Add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds to a jar and mix thoroughly with 6 tablespoons of Unsweetened Almond Breeze®. Screw the lid on the jar and leave in the fridge overnight.
To make the smoothie
Add all the ingredients to the blender cup, add 1 tablespoon of the made chia pudding and pour over the Unsweetened Almond Breeze®. Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Banana and Tahini
Add all the ingredients to the blender cup, pour over the Unsweetened Almond Breeze® and blend until smooth and creamy.
